MACHINE TOOLS

On this occasion the group Industrial Mechanics, we present a video in which we see the different machines used in industries for the manufacture of parts and also see how participating in the process.

The video will include a description by Guillermo Martinez, which shall include all matters relating to a milling machine and a lathe. Richard Velez, will be talking about hidrahulicas press, hand press, welding, stamping and power saws. essentially these are the most used machines in a workshop of mechanical parts manufacturing.

Good morning, Mechanical industrial group, whose members are Richard Velez, and Guillermo Martinez. Today, we are pleased to introduce the most common machine tools in manufacturing industry.

The presentation consists of two parts. First we show a video that explains briefly, what are the machine tools? And what make every one of its? And lastly, we brought some of the items made ​​with these machines; our intention is to explain a bit to serve and how it made.

Good morning, class.

I, Guillermo Martinez in the company of Richard Velez, known by the group of industrial mechanics, this day have the pleasure of presenting the usual machine tool manufacturing industry.

Next, the machine that we noticed is called milling machine, a machine that essentially takes care of making pieces that have rather complex geometries, a more significant example is the gears.

We can see that the machine involves many levers that are used to calibrate or give precision to the cutting tool and also to perform the pieces with the measures the mechanical engineer asked the manager.

The operation is very simple, consists of an engine which transmits power to a pulley and haw these transmit that power to the cutting tool is rotating. The tool rotates and the work piece is still, so the tool gets the strength to make the cut in the piece.

Conventional machine tool has the same cutting principle, therefore, as the court generates heat is necessary a lubricant to cool the work piece and the tool is not to delay the process.

Cuts depend on the tool used and also the elements that have the milling machine, for example, here we see some cutting tools for milling.

Now we have the lathe, which unlike the milling machine, the lathe machine is larger and has more levers, which not only offer cutting calibration, also regulates the speed of cutting and other things to take into account the mechanism for the specific process that is working.

Another difference is the lathe for milling, is that here is the element that rotates the work piece and this still is the cutting tool, therefore the cutting tool approaches the part surface in rotation for
that is wear on the surface and thus achieve the maximum size requested.

On this occasion, we see the Richard fellow who is the mechanic in charge, and also show us how the process of cutting with a lathe.

Essentially, the lathe is responsible for making foot-in-revolution, ie, that the feet are achieved are cylindrical geometry, because as we see the backbone of the lathe turns, and makes no other movement.

This is the hydraulic press used for example enter, remove or adjust pieces of determined apparatus or object, see here the partner Guillermo make force about the press for adjust arm  of a box of direction, these elements are the entrust with the press of adjust the objects.
This is a tool used for double rods and sheets that need a triangular form.
We are seeing is the polisher, the which removes the imperfects to the pieces which irregular areas.

This is a hand press, the which press the elements about the that to work, for that remain still and so not produce none error when is drilling, cutting or hits. This is a esmeril the which serves for the same that the polisher.

The vertical drill is used for drill pieces that need a hole very exact.

This is the soldering, used for link pieces or cut, we are seeing drives of voltage and current.
This is the stamping industrial used for cut sheet with form determined, works by medium of the motor.

And finally the chainsaw with the which is cut different materials as: the aluminum, nylon, copper, steel, iron and among other.
